A few words about

What We Do

Our projects

Our organization is involved in numerous projects in Bidibidi

At Women Concerns and Ideas (WCI), we turn passion into action. From humble beginnings under a mango tree, we now run programs that empower women, girls, and youth to live safer, stronger, and more hopeful lives. Our work focuses on creating awareness, building skills, and giving a voice to those often left unheard.

Youth and Adolescent Empowerment

We guide young people to know their rights, avoid risky behaviors, and become leaders in their communities. We involve them in peacebuilding, learning activities, and skills training.

Vocational and Life Skills Training

We train women and youth in hands-on skills like tailoring, baking, soap making, and hairdressing. These skills help them start small businesses and earn money to support their families

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention

We create awareness in the community about stopping violence against women and girls. We teach people to speak out against abuse and support survivors. We work with leaders, police, and health workers to help those who are affected.

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

We teach women, girls, and youth about their bodies, health, and rights. We help them understand how to protect themselves from early pregnancy, HIV, and other infections. We also link them to health centers where they can get good services like family planning and counseling.
